I love this so far! Everything I might need was here, including a lovely carrying case. The wireless receiver dongle (as well as a usbc to usb-a dongle converter if a device has no USB-A ports) was packed in a small, neat pocket within the case made specifically for the dongles. There was also a cable for a wired option (and charging?) tucked inside the case. Packaging was superb and a pleasure to open and go through. The device itself fits perfectly in my left hand and the soft covering on the back means it stays put when I rest it against my screen display drawing tablet. Software is straightforward and very clean looking and includes a basic preset for Photoshop. Installation and connection was straightforward and easy, too. Customization was GREAT & I especially found the orientation options for the remote to be very nice, too. I like to use it so the dial is at the bottom instead of the top and the device easily accommodated that preference. Overall, I love how nice this device feels and I like that there was clearly a lot of thought put into the design. However, I do have some suggestions on how the Quick Keys could be improved: Firstly, I think maybe a software update (?) to make it so either double clicking or just clicking again on the same button to switch between two different shortcuts would be really helpful. It would give people more shortcuts per 'mode' without having to switch to the next 'Set' constantly. For example, it would be nice to press a shortcut button I set as 'Brush' once and press it again and have it change to 'Eraser' without taking up another button or switching to another 'set'. I can think of a few more shortcuts/actions I'd love to set up that way, like say, 'select' or 'lasso' paired with 'deselect'-all on the same button. I don't know if it's possible, but it would be VERY helpful. Secondly (not really a necessity), a nicer dial maybe? It's NOT bad at all, but I feel like finer control/feedback would be GREAT.

Does this device have a memory to store settings from one computer to another or will it only work on a machine running the manufacturer's software?
Asked by: Dustin
You will need to have the Xencelabs Driver / Settings program installed on your computer. The custom program settings are stored within the Setting application on your computer, not on the Quick Keys.

Can the Xencelabs Quick Keys be used on a computer when a Wacom tablet is also used on the same system? I read the Xencelabs tablet cannot be used if the Wacom drivers are installed, wondered if this affects the Quick Keys as well.
Asked by: Ann
There would be a conflict with the drivers and this would also affect the Xencelabs Quick Keys.

There are three questions on this product, and the answers given all contradict each other. can you clarify all the answers please?
Asked by: Adam
The long answer is that the conflict between Xencelabs Quick Keys and Wacom tablet drivers is a very specific issue which arises due to the limitations of WinTab, an API which can be used with Wacom devices to allow pen input in Windows. This has mainly been an issue in older versions of Photoshop and other Adobe software; modern versions rely instead on Windows Ink, a different API which Xencelabs has stated creates no issues when using both Xencelabs and Wacom devices. Xencelabs has provided instructions on dealing with this issue in a post on their subreddit here: https://bit.ly/3tsqcaI The short answer is that yes, there have been issues with driver compatibility, but this is mainly the case with older versions of Adobe programs and only on Windows. There should be no problems with current versions of Adobe software, and for users who are still having trouble the link above contains a workaround.
