The FH5s features two balanced armature drivers and two dynamic drivers, which provide better vocals and soundstage along with smooth, coherent bass and mid-bass for a larger than life sound with a better sense of atmosphere that truly envelopes you into the music.
The earphones have been accurately tuned to provide robust bass, clear mid-range vocals, and remarkable, non-fatiguing highs and ultra-highs. What's more, there are three tuning switches for customizing the bass, mids, and treble for your best possible sound. The semi-open design at the rear cavity ensures that the air pressure at the front and rear cavities are balanced, resulting in a more comfortable listening experience with a larger and more natural sound stage.
The TRISHELL acoustic design technology is inspired by supercars and is constructed from CNC-machined aluminum-magnesium alloy, which mitigates resonance and reduces distortion. The included 3.9' cable is made with high-purity silver-plated copper, braided in a Litz style for purer sound. The cable comes with expanded MMCX connectors and a twist-lock interchangeable plug system (2.5, 3.5, 4.4mm). The FH5s also includes 13 pairs of eartips, a cleaning brush, and a carrying case.
- 12mm beryllium-plated dome + PU gasket dynamic low frequency driver is the third generation 12mm Tesla low-frequency dynamic driver that is engineered to give extremely high-quality bass. With its rigid yet flexible polyurethane polymer surrounding gasket + beryllium-plated diaphragm dome and N52 magnets capable of 1.5 Tesla, this driver is capable of some seriously deep and potent yet controlled bass.
- 6mm beryllium-plated dynamic mid-frequency driver provides the low and mid frequencies. The beryllium-plated diaphragm dynamic drivers are carefully tuned to smoothly connect to the other drivers.
- Time-tested Knowles TWFK-30017 balanced armature high-frequency driver has proven to be wildly popular among music listeners. This driver is placed directly in the sound tube to be as close to the ear as possible for less high-frequency loss and better extension, giving the FH5s its exquisite treble.
