I bought the 3830 and it wouldn't connect stably to my network. I read the reviews and I was not the only one with this problem. Has it been fixed?

I don't see any spec for basis weight of paper this will handle. Will it work with paper up to 200 grams per square meter?
Epson does not specify a maximum thickness but they do indicate the ST-C4100 is compatible with Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Gloss which is 297gsm and 11.8mil thick.
