The Ultimate Support TS-99B is a lightweight speaker stand made of high-grade aluminum in a black matte finish, with a 150 lb load capacity. The stand features a built-in socket adapter accommodating both 1-3/8" and 1-1/2" speaker sockets, a glass-reinforced polycarbonate telescoping collar, with a die-cast metal clamp for extra security, and an easily tightened adjustment knob.

A tube stop prevents accidental removal of the center tube, and the die-cast metal leg collar clamp ensures maximum stability at the base. The closure lever for the legs is preset to the proper tension for quick setup.

    Ultimate Support TS-99B reviews

TS-99B - Aluminum Speaker Stand (Matte Black) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Man Stand This stand seems to be the standard for Hotel AV companies. No wonder, one person can easily raise/lower the speaker to the proper level. Stand can easily support 90+ pounds but you will need to add sand bags to stabilize if you raise it to near max height. There is some concern about the durability. I have found that if it is dropped it may come apart. As long as you DO NOT LOOSE THE PIN and SPRING, it is easily reassembled. Do not use this stand as a light tree. C-clamps will bend the tube out of round on the first attempt. This will greatly reduce it's safe capacity when extended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatile stand I bought this stand to use in my DJ business as a light stand. It's able to extend to around 9 feet which is perfect for getting lights or speakers well above the crowd. The base opens wider than a standard speaker stand and can be quite stiff at first. The ability to lower in a controlled fashion with the tele-lock system which means no more pins and knobs to limit the height. No more pins means you are not limited to fixed heights; any height is possible. There is also a built in adapter with push pin lock for different contact points.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for such height and quality After having acquired a few pairs of less expensive stands as part of kits, I sprung for two of these for two reasons. First, I have QSC K-series speakers that can be tilted down by 7 degrees, so I like the idea of elevating speakers above the crowd at events, and tilting them down. That keeps the folks closest to the stands from having the speakers blast right into their faces (and ears). Second, I needed something that would safely support two speakers with an adapter, and this does that easily with two QSC K10/K10.2 speakers on an adapter on this stand. The tripod base is quite large and sturdy, but I still plan to get some sandbags to ballast the base to make it more difficult for a careless person to tip the stand (and 80 pounds of speakers) over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome speaker stand! I use my TS-99B's to support some 50lb JBL's. They work perfectly. I didnt need the extra height, but for the little extra cash I figures it might come in handy one day. The telelock latching system is very helpful when raising and lowering heavy speakers. Prior to ordering these, I contacted Ultimate's sales dept for some dimensions. The lad who responded obviously had never used a tape measure and was of no help at all. Since this really has had no effect on my experience with the product, I still gave it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall & Safe We use these stands for a contra dance venue. The speakers are at a sufficient height to keep the caller's microphone from feeding back, and the bases are wide enough to keep the speakers secure and stable. The stands are easy to use, as well. We love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back Savors I have used Ultimate stands since they started business. I finally got a pair of these with the brake lock system. Since I am over 60 now, they make my job a breeze when I am alone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stand Use the stand for our main speakers. Great height, 9 ft, sturdy construction and the telelock system makes raising/lowering the speakers much safer.
