The Uncompressed Audio over Cat 5e Extender Kit from AVPro Edge includes an AC-AEX-T transmitter unit, an AC-AEX-R receiver unit, and a power adapter. The set enables integrators to transmit uncompressed optical or analog audio signals up to 328' meters from the source, and it can convert between analog stereo and optical digital signals.
The set is compatible with any RJ45 connection using Cat 5e or higher cable, and it supports PoE, so only one side needs to be powered to deliver power to both ends. This setup is ideal for modern installations where the customer wants to play sound from built-in SmartTV apps and route it back to the head end for whole-home audio distribution.
