Dynalite 40-DMF reviews

Protection Glass Dome for 4003 & 4006 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dynalite Glass Dome replacement Worked Great and is a DIY fix if you break the glass dome that protects the flash tube. This will save you a bunch of money instead of having to buy a whole new Dome and Flashtube for the dynalite head. I used a razor to break the seal between the glass dome and the creamic base of the flashtube so I could remove the remaining broken pieces of the glass dome. Make sure to clean the old adhesive residue. I used a high temperature RTV clear silicon adhesive to attache the new glass dome to the ceramic base of the old flash tube and let it cure over night. good as new!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from replacement cover This does also work with the 2040 heads. I had broken the cover on mine. The tricky part was getting the broken one off without damaging the ceramic base or flash tube. I took some needle nose and squeezed the old glass to break it apart without putting any stress on the base.I just used some automotive clear silicone seal to attach the new cover.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Correct replacement for Dynalite Fits tightly, perhaps too tightly...concerned about it cracking when the head gets hot
