Control a single outdoor device from anywhere by plugging it into the KP401 Kasa Smart Outdoor Wi-Fi Plug from TP-Link. The KP401 connects to your network via Wi-Fi, enabling you to turn a plugged-in device on and off from your iOS or Android device using the Kasa Smart app.

Once connected, you'll be able to control, set schedules, and set timers for your plugged-in device from anywhere. This plug is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to make controlling your plugged-in device with voice commands seamless. It is also compatible with SmartThings. This plug is rated IP64 for protection against water and dust.

This smart plug is rated for outdoor use and was easy to set up. It allows for on at sundown and off at sunrise control of landscape lighting transformer. It automatically adjusts for ever changing sunup and sundown times throughout the year.

I have dozens of TP-Link products on my Kasa platform for inside my home. Mostly plugs and light switches. This plug will be great add-on for my Christmas lights outdoors. I bought the single plug and dual plugs. The dual plugs can be programmed and used separately. I also used one for my pergola lights.
