Kramer 550X Overview

This VP-550X 10x1 4K Multi-Input Presentation Switcher from Kramer delivers up to 4K video between HDMI and legacy inputs to two mirrored HDMI outputs in AV applications. The VP-550X features seven HDMI, one VGA, one Composite, and one powered USB-C input ports. The HDMI and USB-C inputs can support up to 4K video at 60 Hz. Three audio inputs correspond to the legacy connections and a microphone input can offer +48 phantom power for mixing, switching, or talk-over functions.

The two HDMI output ports and a stereo audio output simultaneously deliver your audio and connected video to compatible displays of your choice. Control over the VP-550X can be achieved using the front panel buttons, included IR remote control, RS-232 serial ports, or via Ethernet connection with web-based software. The unit itself is 1 RU and includes rack ears for integration into your video wall.

I understand the "Mute" button on the front of ...

I understand the "Mute" button on the front of the unit mutes the audio output. Can this button also be configured to blank the video like the "Blank" button on other models?

The mute button on the Kramer VP-550X is not programable to other functions.
