Available for download, accousticsamples Balani samples an authentic 2.5 octave balafon, which is a Guinean instrument similar to a marimba. The instrument has been sampled down to its noise generators. It has been presented in original, traditional, and Western standard scales to suit all sorts of musical productions and compositions.
This sample library is relatively compact thanks to the use of lossless FLAC files. The instrument comes with the UVI 3 Workstation sampler. It will work in Mac and Windows operating systems and is compatible with AU, VST, and AAX formats. You'll need an iLok account to authorize the library, but you won't need an iLok dongle.
