Available for download, the acousticsamples Petit Piano samples a 50-key children's piano with an esoteric sound. The real piano uses a real wooden keyboard a 2-string system to mimic the sound of a full upright piano. So, if you're looking for something that sounds eerily similar to an upright piano, but different enough to catch the ear, this is a great library to use in your DAW-based compositions or productions.
The library provides 1.29 GB worth of samples, and includes the UVI Workstation 3 sampler. It will work in Mac and Windows operating systems and is compatible with AU, VST, and AAX formats. You'll need an iLok account to authorize the library, but you won't need an iLok dongle.
