Solid competition

Love that there is finally competition to drive down the cost of these cards. Love how fast they perform and more solid design than SD cards as I've had a few of those break on me.

Very fast, and VERY expensive!

I use this card with my a7 lV, and it is extremely fast. The price of these cards is also very expensive! I guess if you want to play, you have to pay (lots)...

Great Deal for Great Product

I film a lot of movement (dance, acrobatics) and a lot of times am in need for 120fps (in 24/30 S&Q) in my A7sIII. I bought this ProGrade bundle recently, as I needed more on the go memory, totaling now to 3 CFexpress cards (one of them being a Sony card). These prograde cards work really well (in fact, I was capturing a lot of footage yesterday, as of writing this message, at one of the acrobatic dance shows in Las Vegas). Being able to switch between the regulars SD V90 cards to this was not a problem. But even when you don't need to use higher but rate (that comes with the 120 in 24/30S&Q), these cards are still incredible. I am thinking of getting more of additional deals appear in the near future. Totally recommend this 2-card ProGrade bundle.

Works Great in my Sony Alpha 1

By Nicholas

I tested these cards with Blackmagic Disk Speed test and they reached 600 MB/s, but that may have been a bottleneck in my computer or card reader (also ProGrade). Nonetheless, these cards work great in my Sony Alpha 1 and allow me to use all video modes and codecs. The stills buffer clears way faster than SD UHS-II cards as well. These cards are still pricey but at least they're undercutting the Sony CFA cards.

Nice and Fast but it gets Hot

Amazing fast used with the Sony Alpha A1. Built is solid but don't leave them in the ProGrade card reader too long because it gets really hot. Not sure this will damage the card in the long term.

Will a CFexpress Type B card reader read this card, or do you need a dedicated Type A reader?
Asked by: Kenneth
CFexpress Type A and CFexpress Type B cards use a different form factor. A reader for one will not work for the other. You would need a dedicated Type A reader like the ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type A & UHS-II SDXC Dual-Slot USB 3.2 Gen 2 Card Reader, BH #PRRWCFXTASDA (https://bhpho.to/3HfX37m).
