If you want the best performance out of your Sony Alpha 1 then you need a bunch of these... The only draw back.. darn expensive, smaller capacity compare to the type B CFexpress and some reason it does get hot when you leave it in the card reader. And it is small so don't leave them sitting around... I had to look for it a few times when it fell off the desk or in the bag.. And expensive to replace. To expand the capacity I just shoot in loosless compression RAW mode and it almost doubles the volume. All the other SD cards I have now are

I've bought this 2 pack a couple of times - they work great. I also have Sony TOUGH CF-A cards, I see no difference. However, on this 2-pack they have changed their packaging to cardboard cases. I keep all my cards in individual plastic cases, but these cheap cardboard cases are garbage. No reason not to buy them, but I expect more when spending this kind of money.

Will a CFexpress Type B card reader read this card, or do you need a dedicated Type A reader?
Asked by: Kenneth
CFexpress Type A and CFexpress Type B cards use a different form factor. A reader for one will not work for the other. You would need a dedicated Type A reader like the ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type A & UHS-II SDXC Dual-Slot USB 3.2 Gen 2 Card Reader, BH #PRRWCFXTASDA (https://bhpho.to/3HfX37m).
