Not so good for me

I figured i would try this device in hopes of having a very reasonable sata enclosure. The unit is very straight forward and at first all seemed well. My Samsung sata SSD was recognized and it appeared to be working. As a test, my antiviral program requested to scan the drive, so I let it scan. It was late so I went to bed and let it run, but when i woke up the next morning, the scan stalled and was going on over 10 hours for less than a few gigs of data on a known good drive. I stopped the scan but it the drive did not respond. I disconnected the sarabent enclosure and I put the drive in another good known enclosure and everything worked fine. I tried to reinstall the drive back into the Sarabent enclosure, it started up but windows would not see the drive like it had initially done. I tired other drives in the Sarabent and all failed to work properly. Sending the unit back to B&H or Sarabent would have cost more in freight than the price of the unit itself, so in the rubbish it goes! Remember, if you buy this and it works, its a great deal,but if it doesn't at least its not a huge loss.
