The Drum Synth 500 is modeled after a 500 Series synth rack, where each drum sound has a dedicated channel with a comprehensive interface. You have everything you need to create an endless variety of custom electronic drum sounds for all styles of music. Air Music Technology tapped the sound designers behind Strike, Structure, Sonivox Big Bang, AKAI MPC, and Alesis e-Drums to create a remarkable mixture of vintage and new effects that pay homage to classic sound, while pushing into new territory.
Drum Synth 500 includes 500 drum sounds, 500 drum samples, 50 drum kits and 500 MIDI drum loops, which can be loaded into any DAW and used to kickstart your song or music production. There are individual channels for each drum sound including kick, snare, clap, hats, toms, sample 1, and sample 2. Each channel provides you with a ton of controls to shape your sound including synth/sample parameter, distortion, filters, and compression. At the bottom of each channel are the level fader, pan knob, mute, solo, and four send effects, which route the signal to two reverbs and two delays. The master section includes a saturation circuit, compressor, and EQ.
You can quickly call up preset drum kits or individual drums for each channel and save them as a kit. The Drum Synth 500 is Mac and Windows compatible and will work standalone or within most major DAWs with AAX, AU, and VST formats.
