The R2 Bluetooth Multimedia Remote Control from Satechi is designed as an ultimate media companion for presentations and media websites, whether on a tablet, laptop, or computer. It works with applications like PowerPoint and lets you control playlists and other functions in websites such as YouTube and Pandora. Working over Bluetooth, the remote offers two modes, multimedia and presentation modes, for going from controlling media to controlling presentations.
Multimedia mode lets you adjust volume, go forward/backward, play/pause, select Home/Siri, hit mute, and access a virtual keyboard. Presentation mode includes four-way arrows, Home access, left/right mouse buttons, and the ability to turn your mouse on/off and enable an on-screen red laser pointer when working with PowerPoint and Keynote.
The remote control features easy-to-pair wireless Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and works from up to 32' away. It runs on a built-in battery and is rechargeable via a USB Type-C port using an included charging cable. With one-hour daily use, it can run up to six months on a single charge.
