Angler FastBox Adapter Overview

The FB-CA FastBox Adapter from Angler allows any Profoto A1, Godox V1, or Godox AD100Pro flash head to be magnetically attached to an Angler FastBox for speedy and flexible lighting setups. This adapter also allows the use of the many accessories that are available for the FastBox, such as a 40° grid, a diffuser, or a color correction filter kit.

The FB-CA adapter locks into the FastBox with a simple twist and provides a firm and secure hold with a strong magnetic ring that matches the flash's circular head. This lightweight, durable plastic ring quickly attaches to Angler's FastBox Pistol Grip, which has a 5/8" receiver for light stand mounting or for handheld use.

Very good design. One nice surprise, it holds the magnetic filters, etc on the opposite side from the flash. Robust, and you can leave the filter in place even if you take out the flash.

Using this with the angler fast box pistol grip.

Can this adapter accommodate the Godox H200R round flash head for the AD200 flash unit? I don't know if the dimensions/diameter of the V1 head is the same as the H200R head.

No, the Angler FB-CA FastBox Adapter for Select Profoto and Godox Flashes will not fit the Godox Witstro H200R Round Flash Head for AD200 TTL Pocket Flash. For the H200R one can use the Angler FB-PA2 FastBox Adapter for Profoto A2 Monolight, BH #ANFBPA2 (https://bhpho.to/3C8GBFD).

What is the difference between the FB-CA and the FB-PA1? Does the FB-CA provide any mechanical clamping of the flash for added security or are both adapters solely magnetic?

The FB-CA has a push release button. Both use magnets and do not clamp.
