Other instruments include electric pianos, bass, strings, vibraphone, and more. The layer function allows you to combine two sounds while the split function lets you to assign two different sounds to low and high zones on the keyboard.
The onboard speaker system features two, 8W amplifiers, which reproduce a realistic piano sound with deep overtones and controllable volume, whether you're playing rock, pop, jazz, or classical music. The included WU-BT10 adapter adds Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing you to use the speakers to play music from a smartphone or tablet—suitable for both play-along or background music when entertaining. Two headphone jacks are provided for quiet practice, alone or with a partner.
The PX-S1100 offers educational tools to help you learn piano. The built-in metronome promotes accurate timing. The USB MIDI support lets you capture your performances as MIDI data on the built-in MIDI recorder or wirelessly on your smartphone/tablet—enabling you to quickly evaluate your progress. A music library of 60 songs with Part On and Part Off functions allows students to play along and mute the right hand or left hand part of the songs, and practice hands separately.
