Compatible with select Shure mics—Microflex MX395-LED boundary mics and MX400SMP-compatible modular gooseneck mics such as the MX405, MX410, and MX415—that have been paired with an A400MB mute button, the Remote Mounting Kit enables the plug-on adapter to be affixed horizontally to the underside of a table, rather than extending vertically down from the microphone's XLR connection. This low-profile setup maximizes clearance beneath the table and allows the use of audio extension cables (available separately) to position the plug-on adapter even further from the mic.
