The Mathew Lane DrMS is a complex and versatile spatial processor plug-in that utilizes mid-side processing to give mixers, engineers, beat creators, and sound designers total creative control over the stereo image of a track or mix—ideal for mastering, mixing, and postproduction applications, or general sonic manipulation.
The DrMS can handle simple mid-side encoding/decoding and also increase the stereo field with width and depth enhancement. It can fix mono compatibility issues, and there is an internal Autogain function for easy level-matched A/B comparison.
The software is compatible with Mac and Windows and operates in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats. Choose to authorize DrMS using either Host Computer authorization or an iLok2/iLok3 (available separately) USB dongle. One License authorizes two computers or iLoks at once.
