Extend your Sony PXW-FS7 or PXW-FX9 viewfinder an additional 3" with this Extended 9" Viewfinder Arm from Rigidesigns. This extension rod replaces the original 6" long viewfinder arm, allowing you to extend your viewfinder up to 9" along the arm. It is made from durable aluminum, it is squared and hollowed to make it lightweight, and its milled corners fit snugly into the camera handle mount.

Mine does not work with the shape fx9 viewfinder mount as advertised by Rigidesigns. Very frustrating. It also seems the company may no longer be in business as I've received no response from them and their socials haven't been updated in years.
I bought one of these when they first came out. G A M E C H A N G E R for the FX9 when using bigger lenses--such as Canon 17-120 and shooting on your shoulder. I use mine with the SHAPE View Finder Mount for Sony FX9 also available from B&H Two great products that work great together. They will make your FX9 a much more professional camera in the field.
