TTArtisan 40mm f/2.8 Reviews
Great clarity
I purchased this Macro lens based on its price. This is the third TTA lens I own and I am satisfied with them all. I owned a competitor’s lens years ago and it seemed clumsy. Although it had autofocus capabilities, I prefer manual focus for macro work. TTA is hard to beat in terms of cost , clarity and easy operation. I have been a photo enthusiast since the late 70’s and I will gladly recommend this lens to anyone.
Loving it so far
I got this lens because I wanted 1:1 macro without spending too much. What I didn't expect is not just 1:1 macro but much more. This lens excels at all kinds of close up and macro shots. In addition to that, this lens surpassed my expectations as a portrait lens. It is super sharp, easy to use and great for general photography. I have taken some pretty good portrait shots with it as well. Definitely a keeper.
