Designed for beginner drone pilots, the SP650 1080p Full HD Drone from Snaptain combines intuitive controls with a host of easy-to-use flying modes. Controlling the drone is done via the included remote, your smartphone, or simple voice commands. As you fly, you can make the SP650 spin in place with high-speed rotation, circle fly around a person or object, or use Altitude Hold to hover in place. Whether you use one of these features or fly normally, you can use the integrated 1080p gimbal to capture stunning aerial images and videos.
Headless Mode
This mode is designed to make flying the drone a little more straightforward, especially for those without a lot of flight experience. As the drone is flying, its front can turn in different directions, making it hard to orient it in the direction you want to fly it. With Headless Mode, the drone is automatically oriented to the controller. For example, regardless of where the front of the drone is pointing in the sky, if you push forward, the drone will fly away from you; pull back on the stick and it will fly towards you.
Gesture Controls
Take aerial selfies by using hand gestures. Throw up the "Victory Sign" with two fingers to start a 3-second picture countdown, or use your open palm to have the SP650 begin a video recording.
Trajectory Flight
While you can manually fly the drone with the remote, Trajectory Flight allows you to easily get the drone to follow a specific path. Simply draw your desired flight route on your smartphone's screen, and the SP650 will fly it.
Perform Flips
You can perform cool 360° flips with the tough of the 3D Flip button and moving the right control stick.
