Boost your Wi-Fi coverage and enjoy smooth 4K video streaming, online gaming, and video chat by plugging the TP-Link RE500X AX1500 Wireless Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender into a wall outlet near where you're experiencing dead spots. This compact 802.11ax range extender works with almost any brand and model router to deliver up to 1500 Mb/s throughput over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Using it with a OneMesh-compatible device allows you to create a unified mesh network that has a single network ID (SSID) and password for a seamless connection as you roam from room to room. You can quickly integrate the range extender into your existing network by pressing the WEP button to pair it with a compatible router. Or you can use the TP-Link Tether mobile app to configure, monitor, and manage your device. The RE500X's built-in LED indicators show your connectivity and network status. Additionally, you can configure RE500X to work as an access point by using its integrated Gigabit Ethernet port to add wireless connectivity to your wired network.

TP-Link RE500X Reviews
Quick and easy
I needed an easy fix for a weak signal to our den, and moving the router isn't an option. This arrived and was installed with the push of two buttons, ready to work. It fixed the problem. So 10 minutes from delivery to my door to working signal.
Big Disappointment
I bought this extender along with the Archer AX21 AX1800 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router in order to create a mesh network and presumably upgrade the wifi performance of an older router and extender. Having now used this for several weeks, I cannot say that I am noticing any real improvement in how my home network is performing. There are also too many inexplicable disconnections from the wifi system. I do not believe I have gotten any real value for the money spent on this.
