The Klover Sound Shark Equalized XLR Kit includes a Sound Shark parabolic collector and an Equalized XLR Lapel Mic. The kit enables wedding, event, and sports videographers, or independent filmmakers, to capture audio signals from a greater distance and with more clarity than when using a standard mic, producing videos that truly make the viewers feel like they are experiencing the action up close.
The parabolic collector turns the lavalier mic into a long-range microphone capable of capturing audio from 30 to 50'. The parabolic dish design focuses the sound energy from a large area onto a single point, zeroing in on your subject, while rejecting unwanted ambient noise from the side and back of the mic. The shape of the dish shields the microphone from wind noise, making it ideal for outdoors use. For additional wind protection, use the acoustically transparent KM-09-WC wind cover (available separately).
