These things are super small, super convenient. With Rode's new offering I look forward to DJI updating these in the future to maybe include 32 bit float like the Rode Go Pro but they are still EXTREMELY convenient .

I've used this for a handful of video projects and got burned, as the audio doesn't line up, it cuts out, glitches. Had to spend a ton of time in post fixing these issues. Luckily I had various takes to pull from, but this is not a reliable/dependable piece of equipment for professional use.

Potential heat issue using an iPhone - lost my audio.

Bringing this up because I haven't seen anyone mention this yet-- I was filming on location, it was hot (90F+) and direct sun. Filming on a pro cam and an iPhone. When I had the receiver connected to my iPhone 12 Pro, I noticed the phone got quite hot, but it was recording video just fine, and the receiver had good levels. Afterwards, I discovered that all of the clips I'd filmed had just blank static for audio. What?? I double-checked that the pins for the adapter were connected properly. My theory is that the receiver draws some power from the phone (causing it to heat up), and once the phone reaches a certain temperature, it stops talking to it. On a hot sunny day like when I was filming, this happened in minutes. Even with headphones plugged in, you'll have no way to know if it's being recorded, because the issue happens between the receiver and the phone.
Because of this, I'm super wary now, and have to shoot & play back test clips to make sure my audio is actually being recorded. If I'm skeptical, I'll just record the audio internally, which adds extra complexity to post-production. Bummer.
Everything else about this system is great. I'm using it with the Saramonic SR-M1 TRS lav mic with no issues. Connects instantly, form factor is insanely small, battery life is solid.
One other note: if you're trying to hide the transmitter on a sweaty athlete or just in a tricky location, it fits nice and tight in the Mini size of this product: Remote Audio URSA Pouch for Wireless Transmitters

DJI has again proven its dedication to providing creators with quality equipment that elevates their work. It's hard to overstate how much the Lav Mic has transformed my audio recording experience and workflow. The performance and features have surpassed all my expectations.
My top 5 reasons for a five-star rating:
1. It's compact and lightweight
2. The pairing process is quick and straightforward
3. The battery life is more than adequate for lengthy recording sessions
4. The range and reliability are excellent
5. Sound quality
It's a worthwhile investment and highly recommended.

I tried to fix this issue and they are super staticky and the noise is loud. I sold my rode wireless for this and I deeply regret it.
So Far So Great

I've only had these for a couple weeks so far but so far I love this easy to use/ plug-n-go system, so much more efficient than my previous setup on set.
I'm not much of an audio tech (I shoot commercial stills mostly) but have started to add in small interviews & video. The ease of use with this system is what sold me, quality is great and more than one would need for anything web content related.
The mic is pretty lightweight, clips on easily but depending on fabric or where you are clipping it on it can pull collar which may not look the best.
But overall this is a pretty sound wireless system!
