Secure your telescope to the railing of your deck, blind, or hide for optimal stargazing and watching wildlife with the BC-2 Hide Clamp with SH-707E Panhead from Opticron. Attach the rig to horizontal supports up to 1.8" in diameter and adjust the center pole to an optimal height (up to 19.1"). Imaging and photographic equipment of up to 6.6 pounds are supported by the setup and can be balanced using the two bubble levelers along the panhead. The aluminum alloy support includes various reducer sleeves to allow the clamp to be adapted to fit other pole diameters.
Clamp your scope or camera to any item up to 1.8" diameter in or around your blind using the Opticron BC-2 Hide Clamp with a 500mm Center Column. A 500mm post allows for vertical adjustment range of 19.7" and a screw pins it in place, allowing you to set the height. A 1/4"-20 stud tops off the post so you can attach an optic of your choice.

The Slik SH-707E is a 2-way pan head that has traditional all-metal construction with simple sturdy one lever operation. When released, the head can move in two directions: it can tilt up and down and pan left or right. Its single rubberized handle controls all movement.
These directions of movement make the head an ideal choice for long telephoto lenses, like 300mm f/2.8, 400mm f/5.6 or 500mm f/4.5, or spotting scopes. Following a subject, such as a bird in flight, is easy with this head. The tension of movement can be adjusted by turning the release lever slightly to match the weight of the camera and lens being used.
