Nice little interface

I use it as a high-quality analog-to-digital converter for archiving analog media. Also as a headphone amp for my PC. I'm happy with the sound quality and the controls. I might have given it 5 stars, if they didn't force you to log in and install unnecessary software just to get the Windows driver. I uninstalled the software after getting the driver and the interface works fine.

Hardware is great, software is bad

The device itself is excellent. Super high quality, made in Taiwan, compact, just overall well-designed. Unfortunately, the software, which they push heavily for settings and firmware updates, is quite terrible. On Mac, you can't install it without giving it root access to your computer to install god-knows-what. On Windows, it uses some terrible anti-piracy nonsense called PACE that freezes up my computer.
