Godox Soft Tent for ML30 and ML30Bi Overview

Designed for illuminating objects and people, this Collapsible Soft Tent from Godox provides you with a diffused and even light. It expands the light's beam spread and lets you quickly take advantage of variable lighting effects.

Diffuses Light
  • Use the included round head adapter for compatibility with Godox's separately available V1 series, AD100pro pocket flash, and AD200Pro round head flash.
  • Use the rectangle to round head adapter for compatibility with the brand's square head flashes, such as the optional V860III, V860II, V850III, TT685, TT685 II, TT600, TT560II, TT520II, TT660S, and AD200.
  • Use the Godox mount adapter for compatibility with select Godox mount lights, including the separately available ML30, ML30Bi, ML60, ML60Bi, AD300pro, and AD400Pro.

Interesting light modifier

I bought these just to experiment with, but they are really quite nice and interesting light modifiers. They come with adapters which work on just about any Godox (or other) product, not just the ML30 lights. Check the manufacturer's website for more detail on compatibility. They collapse for storage and have been very durable so far.

Not ideal for on-camera flash

Works well if you're using it off camera. However, I wanted something to soften the light from my on camera flash during events, but it was too heavy and caused red eye.

The following unit is designed and made for the following two units ML30 and ML30Bi LED Lights. But will 100% mount to the Godox 300 pro creating a nice soft light.

The Godox Soft Tent for Dainty ML30 and ML30Bi LED Lights includes one adapter for the round head flashes (V1/AD100 Pro and AD200 with the round head); one adapter for the rectangular head flashes and one adapter for the AD-300 and AD-400. Three adapter rings included.

The Godox Collapsible Soft Tent does fit onto the AD400pro II strobe. Best is to not use it for long periods of time, as the AD400 does get warm.

The Godox Soft Tent for Dainty ML30 and ML30Bi LED Lights is meant to be used with a lower output light, but I do not think ML100bi will cause any further concern. Use caution and monitor the diffuser when using it on a higher output light.

Why aren't the mount rings pictured and does the flange mount fit in a Bowens mount?

This does not have a Bowens S mount. It is a dedicated proprietary godox mount that fits the ML30 lights.

The Godox Collapsible Tent is compatible with only the following light fixtures from Godox. Godox LC30BI Godox LC30D Godox ML100BI Godox ML100R Godox ML150 Godox ML30 Godox ML30Bi Godox ML60 ML30 LED 3-LIGHT KIT Godox ML60BI/ML30BI LED 3-Light Kit Godox ML60II Bi Godox ML80 It is not compatible with the V1 or the AD200.
