Bringing the classic tones of the Ampeg VST to your fingertips, the Basspeg Amp Plug-In from Plug & Mix delivers deep lows and substantial warmth to your bass signals. This flexible plug-in features four virtual knobs for controlling drive (tube distortion) and 3-band EQ, along with switches for bass contour and high-frequency boosting.
Basspeg lets you select three unique miking methods, including options for dynamic and condenser mics, or DI. This plug-in is available in AAX Native, Audio Units, RTAS, and VST formats for wide compatibility with a range of DAWs on macOS and Windows.
Controls
The Basspeg amp emulation plug-in features four knobs, two switches, and three buttons, including:
- Drive: Adds more or less tube overdrive/distortion
- Bass: Adds more or less low frequencies
- Midrange: Adds more or less mid frequencies
- Highs: Adds more or less high frequencies
- Deep: Low-frequency contour switch
- Bright: High-frequency boost switch
- Off: Switches to straight DI emulation
- Dyn: Activates dynamic-style mic emulation
- Cond: Activates condenser-style mic emulation
- In: Controls the input level of the plug-in
- Out: Controls the output level of the plug-in
