This two-axis Damping Arm with 2.2 to 26.5 lb payload provides increased shock reduction for your DigitalFoto Solution vest and top bar stabilization system (available separately). This aluminum-alloy component further reduces unwanted up-and-down camera motion and hangs the camera several inches further out in front to augment the shooter's view of the LCD monitor.
The articulating spring arm extends and retracts, augmenting the damping system built into the vest itself. Mounting hardware is included to combine the two devices, improving the vest's ability to stabilize the camera on its horizontal plane.
Stabilizes and Supports
This dampener arm supports the weight of the gimbal rig while it smooths out the camera operator's footsteps and other vertical movements. This Z-axis stabilization provides correction for the dimension not covered by three-axis gimbals.
Compatibility
The dampener arm slides onto the overhead arm of DigitalFoto's ER 3-10 Hook Vest to augment the spring-loaded cable system built into the base of the top bar. The two systems work seamlessly to maximize their effectiveness.
