Onetakeonly Pad Prompter Overview

Lightweight, easy to use, and supporting iPads and tablets up to 12.9", the Pad Prompter for 15mm Rigs, from Onetakeonly, is a compact tablet teleprompter designed to be attached to the front of your 15mm camera rig with included rods and rod adapters. Meant for use as a tripod-mounted prompter (tripod not included), mount your camera and iPad or Android tablet (not included) for an easy prompting session. For travel, simply remove all the rods and rod adapters to collapse the Pad Prompter to a flat, 1.2" thick and easily take it with you.

The top cover lifts open in front of the lens, offering a lens opening to position your lens to. Your tablet inserts in place of the top cover, and the included 70/30 beamsplitter glass installs into the top cover right in front of the lens opening and can be kept in there even during transport. A cloth hood is also included for covering the lens opening to block unnecessary light. It is designed to be attached to the top cover by optional touch fasteners.

Does this work with the new iPad Pro and iPad Air 13" models?

The Onetakeonly Pad Prompter for 15mm Rigs for iPad and Tablet up to 12.9" can fit the 13" iPad Air, as it measures 12.9" diagonally, but not the 13" iPad Pro, as it measures 13" diagonally.

How well does the auto focus work with a dslr ...

How well does the auto focus work with a dslr through the prompter glass?

That really would depend on the camera you are using and how its auto focus system reacts. If you are using a DSLR with a strong Video AF and the glass is kept clean, it should work well. But that really is something you'd have to test out to see the results.

It would be a very tight fit on certain cinema lenses. It would easily fit the less expensive type (rokinon, slr magic) I am not sure about xeen.

This only weighs 1.25 pounds before you add the Tablet. However we do not recommend using this on a Glidecam HD4000.
