Glyph Technologies Atom Pro V2 Reviews

Faster Than Greased Lightning

I did considerable research using Google Gemini before making this purchase, after spending two days and one entire night of letting the recovery process run on its own after my new Apple MacBook Pro disconnected my Lacie exFAT format disc and refused to allow me to reconnect it. I had 4.3 TB of just photos to recover, many of them 30 MB. It now brings up all the photos instantly. I recall having to wait a couple of minutes when I used the Lacie on my old Apple Laptop i5 chip. Although Gemini mentioned Glyph and alternatives to Glyph, Glyph was among the top two or three choices. I saw some bad reviews so I called Glyph directly and the gentleman who answered knew instantly what the problem was before I could finish saying my old exFAT format disc crashed when I tried to upload a photo from my brand new M5 chip MacBook. Glyph has a native Apple format and Thunderbolt, which was a major selling point. When I am in a photo workshop we depart at 4:45 a.m, come back to the hotel for a class, then back out and finally prepare files for the next day’s class late at night. Sitting around waiting two minutes for a disc to come up when trying to get to bed isn’t fun.

Be ready to wait if you transfer very large files.

This ssd is Great if you transfer medium or small files. But if you plan to transfer very large files (like 600gb+), be ready to wait longer than you think. Unacceptable for the price range in my opinion.
