Our first power station by another manufacturer was a vertical setup and was prone to tipping (even more so when the latch on one side broke after a year and it could only hold one battery), this operates in the horizontal position which suits our setup better.

So if you had two 14.5V batteries, does it output the two batteries voltages in series (doubling the voltage to 28V) or in
parallel (doubling the time)?

The IndiPRO Tools Field Power Station (V-Mount) outputs the same voltage as the batteries you choose to use with it, so two 14.5V batteries will output at 14.5V.

If you place two IDX 14.5 V batteries into the case will the 4 pin output 14V or 28 V?

When using the IndiPRO Tools Field Power Station the voltage output would match the batteries you work with. 14.8v batteries would output 14.8v and 26v would output 26v. The voltage would match the batteries you supply. Both the 4pin and 3pin connector would output the same voltage as the batteries supplied.
