For OCF does it need an extra trigger if an a7iv ?
Asked by: Alex
The Sony FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander, BH # SOFAWRC1M would be needed in order to fire the HVL-F60RM2 off camera from any Sony Alpha mirrorless camera, included the A7 IV. https://bhpho.to/3G8YEw2

two questions: What is the upgrade difference between this 2nd generation and the first generation? Can this use a HV connection for external battery pack (non AA batteries)?
Asked by: Ryan
The HVL-F60RM2 differs from the original in that it now offers faster performance at 200 consecutive flashes when shooting at 10 FPS with select Sony Alpha cameras. The Sony FA-EBA1 External Battery Pack, BH # SOFAEBA1 would be a compatible option aside from the AA batteries needed inside of the flash. https://bhpho.to/3nkC3pc

Where is the AF Illuminator and what color is it? I find the f60m very bright and white, blinding.
Asked by: Juliana
The AF illuminator feature can bs shut off from the camera's menu system when using the Sony HVL-F60RM2 Wireless Radio Flash (B&H# SOHVLF60RM2). The modeling light is most likely bright white, but at this time (i.e. pre-release) there is no available information on that topic.
