Best universal doc I've used. I've tried other docks and they usually stop working after a while, but this one has been great. No more dongles while at my desk!

This is an excellent dock, which prioritizes thunderbolt ports and doesn't take up too much space on my desk. My only frustrations are with the positioning of the ports on the front, which end up being a bit of a waste. Specifically, it's annoying that the 90W T4 port (the one that can supply enough power to charge a laptop) is on the *front* of the device. Since this is the one connector you'll rarely remove, it would make a lot more sense for the computer connection to be on the rear of the dock, out of the way. Similarly, the USB-A 2.0 connector on the front of the dock is really only suitable for USB charging of accessories, which means that the two most *accessible* ports on this dock are the least *useful*. I would have preferred to have one or two TB4 or at least high-power USB3 ports on the front, for easy attachment of peripherals like drives. Minor frustration, but the vertical stand is very lightweight, which makes the dock quite wobbly and subject to tipping over if you're moving cables around. The good news is that it's hollow, so you can add weights if you want to (I might).

This Dock is EVERYTHING AND MORE!

I recently purchased the 14" MacBook Pro with the M1 MAX chip and needed a good dock so I would only need 1 cable to plug in. I've always been skeptical about TB docks because they either work well or they don't, or just plain finicky. However, I've had this dock for about 2 months now and it is FLAWLESS. I take my Mac to work and then back home to WFH and everything shows up immediately. The even included the TB4 cable (which I'm so glad it comes included because TB4 cables are super expensive). All-in-all great dock!

Pricey but worth it. I have it connected to a MacBook Pro and two 24" screens and all runs smooth. No issues. So great when things work the way they're supposed to work. I approve this message.

Why is this so much higher prices at $350, my Caldigit has the same number of usb c and usb 3.2 ports without the extraneous ports no one hardly uses (card reader and headphone jack) for only $250?

I just received my Brydge Stone Pro TB4. The outside of the packages says it was designed for Microsoft Surface and a red banner in the tip says it is for Windows 10 & 11. I bought this to use with a Mac Studio. Are there two different models: one for Microsoft and one for Apple or does the same model work with both?

How is 8k outputted from this unit? My 8k only supports HDMI as it has no display ports. New to TB4, but do they even make HDMI 2 (unless it's higher revision like 2.1) to TB4 cable adapter?

The Brydge Stone Pro 12-Port Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station supports 8K output, but all the other devices connected to it (such as laptop, desktop and monitor) have to be 8K capable.
