BEWARE - easily snaps - ruined my LED panel.

I bought these so I could mount my LED panels onto a MagShoe. I was shooting a wedding which was supposed to be outdoors but Florida weather had us all running inside at the last minute. Once inside we started getting lights set up since the lighting was terrible. I grabbed my LED panel, mounted the Magmod Stud onto the light and then onto my MagShoe. Once I started handling the light, the LED panel kept coming loose from the stud. So I tightened the stud twice... didn't help. I tightened it a third time, just a bit more to ensure it would budge and then lifted my LED panel high up. As soon as I moved my light stand to position it, my LED panel fell to ground... I though to myself this aint gonna be good. When I inspected my LED panel, I saw that the Magmod Stud snapped in half; the threaded stud was stuck in the light, and the flat part was still in the Magshoe. The sad part was, my LED panel only had ONE mounting hole... that's on me for buying a light with 1 mounting option. However, now I DO NOT trust this product. Being the handy man I am, I tried every which way I knew how to extract that broken threaded stud in my light but nothing worked. Light had to be tossed. It worth noting that these are made out of aluminum NOT steel and it's not going to withstand anything bigger than a speed light.

The Magmod 1/4"-20 screws (2-pack) are made of aluminium that's been anodized yellow-gold.
