The UV-Haze #010 MRC Basic Filter from B+W is a 67mm filter that reduces ultraviolet light transmission, reducing the bluish case atmospheric caste when shooting outdoors. It also adds a clear layer of protection for the front element of a lens with resistance coating that repels dirt and water and protects against scratches and abrasions. The filter is made of precision German optical glass, each side featuring 7 layers of Broadband coating for high contrast pictures with minimal residual reflection and a uniform light transmission level of 99.5%.

"Multi Resistant Coating" (MRC) and "Nano" coating are now combined on B+W filters: the coating resists dust and moisture, and offers significant resistance to mechanical scratches on the surface of the lens. Cleaning filters with the hard, water-repellant MRC Nano system of coatings is considerably easier than cleaning filters without this coating.

Multicoating on a good filter will last as long as the filter, if it isn't scratched or damaged by careless cleaning with low-quality products.
