Love this thing! Customizable workflow, fast autofocus, great video settings. I’m a beginner to say the least and this was worth it!

I don't think it is set up logically like the Canon products I have used for decades. It is certainly not intuitive. Thank goodness I bought a book. What I saw from Sony, their instructions left a lot to be desired IMHO.

Yes, Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera comes with 1 Sony NP-FZ100 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery (2280mAh). You can charge the battery inside the camera with the AC Adapter and Power Cord included in the box.

Unfortunately it cannot shoot 4K 30P in the XAVC HS format. You'll have to do XAVC-S or XAVC-S-I for 4K 30P.

I'm disappointed that it only shoots 10 fps for a mirrorless camera. Is there any way to make it faster?

The Sony Alpha a7 IV cannot shoot faster than 10 FPS. If you need a faster camera get the Sony Alpha a9 II Mirrorless Digital Camera. This one shoots at 20 fps. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/3ngjGk0

Can this camera use canon efs lenses in crop mode ( with adapter ) is the AF still works ?

From our tests with currently available Sony models (namely the A7RIV, A1, and A7SIII) and the Metabones adapter, we've had success with several EF-S lenses. The combination of A7RIV + Metabones + EF-S 18-55mm and 18-135mm lenses was quite good and we assume reliability will depend on the lens itself. In most of our tests, AF-C in video was not fully reliable.
