KabukiGlasses KG-L413R Overview

An innovative improvement to conventional opera glasses, the KabukiGlasses 4x13 HD Theater/Opera Glasses allow you to wear your magnified binoculars like glasses without the need to manually focus. Don't let the name deceive you, while they were initially developed for theater use, they are equally useful at the stadium watching the game, in the backyard enjoying views of the moon, or in any situation where you want to get closer to the action in an instant.

Utilizing compact BK7 roof prisms and a five-element lens system, they weigh in at only 3.3 ounces for comfortable long-term use. The binoculars are offset from your face to eliminate eyelash touch, and because they are worn like glasses, they move with your head to virtually eliminate image shake. They feature a wide 52° apparent angle of view and can be easily used by people with normal eyesight above 30/100 or who wear contact lenses, but if you suffer from near-sightedness you may experience focus issues. These KabukiGlasses are made in Japan.

Next-Level Opera/Theater/Sporting Event Glasses

Yes, opera glasses are still a thing. Who doesn’t want to get a better view of the stage be it for an opera, concert, comedy show, play, sporting event, or whatever?   KabukiGlasses are a unique twist on the typical opera glass solution. You wear them instead of holding them to your face. Now you are hands-free to enjoy beverages or snacks of your choice while holding hands with your favorite theater seatmate! Hands-free also means you can enjoy a steadier view of the action as your shaky hands are not involved! Optically, KabukiGlasses give you a superior view when compared to traditional opera glasses (which have always been towards the lower end of optical quality). That alone makes them a great tool for theater goers! The “auto focus” of the KabukiGlasses is simply an optical focus set to infinity from a certain minimum distance (32.8’ / 10m in this case)—meaning everything is in sharp focus past that distance—there is no focusing to mess with. Are KabukiGlasses the world’s best binoculars? No. Are they the best opera glasses you can buy currently? Certainly!

Excellent
