SLR Magic MicroPrime Cine 21mm T1.6 Reviews

Great Value

I have the 12mm, the 21mm, and the 50mm. All of them have a really great look on the BMPCC4K. Are they perfect? No, but for the price they are great. They have some chromatic aberration when wide open but are pretty solid from about T2.8 onward. I don't notice it on the wide but it is 2.8 minimum so it makes sense. There is definitely focus breathing but this doesn't bother me much creatively. I find the focus marks to be questionable but I haven't actually measured and I'm not utilizing them while working, just looking at the image and peaking so it's kind of irrelevant for me.

Amazing!

Really fantastic quality. Definitely one of the best Micro 4/3 lenses I've had, got some really great images with it so far. Worth the wait (I pre-ordered). When I put it on the room effectively doubled in depth in picture; nice beautiful wide. I'd say it's definitely worth the money.

what is the highest aperture on this lens? The specs on all of these SLR lenses seem to be a bit lacking in detail. Do all the microprimes have the same minimum t-stop? Thanks for any input!
Asked by: walter
The SLR Magic MicroPrime Cine 21mm T1.6 Lens opens at a T1.6. No, all of the SLR MicroPrime Lenses have different apertures and will be labeled in the title.
