Give your samples the vintage treatment with the TAL-Sampler virtual instrument. The TAL-Sampler functions much like an analog synthesizer that uses a sample engine in place of oscillators. Running inside your DAW host on the VST, VST3, AU, and AAX platforms, the plug-in employs several digital-audio-conversion and reconstruction methods from vintage samplers to achieve that special grit that gives older digital hardware such a distinctive sonic flavor.
The instrument lets you play up to four sample layers at a time and offers a wealth of sound-sculpting parameters including a self-resonating multimode filter, which can be set to a 6, 12, or 24 dB slope. The envelope section provides an AMP envelope, a VCF filter envelope, and a MOD envelope, and you can use all three as sources in the modulation matrix. Three LFOs are available per voice, while EQ, reverb, and delay effects are onboard to help you sweeten the sounds.
