The EX-ACPROCC Carbon Fiber Center Column from Explorer Photo & Video is an accessory center column for the EX-ACPRO Ascent professional carbon fiber tripod, which adds up to 15.35" to its maximum height when greater elevation is required. It quickly and easily replaces the standard flat head platform and features a twist-lock rapid column mechanism. The center column is very rigid due to its 10-layer carbon fiber construction, and it has a retractable ballast hook for added stability. It offers a robust 44 lb load capacity yet only weighs about 1 lb, making it easy to have on hand when shooting on location or in the studio.
