HP 600 G6 DM Overview

Deploy the compact and reliable HP ProDesk 600 G6 Mini Desktop Computer from the open office to the back office in your modern workspace, thanks to its powerful combination of scalable performance and built-in security, all of which is packed into a highly adaptable form factor. This system is powered by a 10th Gen 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-10500T Six-Core processor and 8GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM that allows you to efficiently multitask as well as quickly access frequently used files and programs. If you require more processing power the memory can be upgraded to 64GB by using a 32GB memory module in each of the 260-pin SO-DIMM slots.

For storage, it has a 256GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD for all your data and media content, and this storage can be expanded using the 2.5" drive bay or second M.2 2280 PCIe slot. You can connect external storage devices, printers, and more using its one 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, three 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and three 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 chipset delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you'll be able to output video using the two DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

Connect to the internet via dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) or the Gigabit Ethernet jack for a more stable and reliable wired connection. Other integrated features include Bluetooth 5.0 for pairing compatible wireless peripherals and a 3.5mm universal audio jack with CTIA headset support that can be re-tasked as a headphone output, line output, microphone input, or line input.

HP's ProDesk 600 G6 Mini includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a 65W external power adapter, and a 6' power cord. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) and users will be able to upgrade to Windows 11, when available.

Windows 10 Pro
Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Continuum
