This flat base "naked" head requires a ball or Mitchell base, a tie-down, a camera baseplate, and a pan handle.

Can this be mounted directly to an rrs tripod using the 3/8female on the bottom of the flat?
The Mounting Base is a Flat base with center 3/8 inch female thread, 3 x M5 threads and 2 x ¼ inch threads. This head is designed to connect to most any tripod model that supports 75mm bowl adapters using the following tie down https://bhpho.to/3MUnbYx. If the tripod you work with has a Male 3/8 tread it could also attach to that.
