The DS3622xs+ is equipped with a 2.2 GHz Intel Xeon D-1531 Six-Core processor and 16GB of DDR4 ECC memory that can be expanded up to 48GB, while also delivering sequential read speeds of up to 4719 MB/s and write speeds of over 2400 MB/s. This NAS is equipped with 12 drive bays that are capable of natively supporting 3.5" SATA hard drives, as well as 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs for data storage.
The DS3622xs+ runs on the Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which is a browser-based operating system which helps to simplify managing your Synology NAS. Also featured are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports for peripherals and accessories, plus two Mini-SAS expansion ports for two DX1222 expansion units. Network connectivity is achieved via the two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports or the two Gigabit Ethernet ports, all of which have link aggregation and failover. For those who require RAID support, the DS3622xs+ supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, as well Synology F1 RAID and Basic RAID, each of which offers performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD is also available, allowing each drive bay to be individually utilized.
The DS3622xs+ is engineered to be energy efficient.
