The Waves SSL EV2 Plug-In is a digital recreation of the classic SSL 4000E console channel strip. It has been created using Waves' Precision Analog Component technology and is based on a meticulously maintained reference console provided by Solid State Logic. You can now switch between two iconic SSL EQ flavors: the Black Knob 242 for a clean, punchy sound, and the original Brown Knob O2 for a crunchy, character-rich sound. The EV2 includes a newly modeled line- and mic-preamp input section that allows users to achieve a range of rich harmonic distortion, from gentle saturation to aggressive drive.
