Great for travel

I use it for my Mac mini for travel. I use a 27 monitor for my Mac mini but I don't think I can bring it when I am on travel. This monitor is a great selection when I am on travel. I use virtual keyboard because I don't use keyboard very often. I only bring this monitor and a mouse with my Mac mini. I can touch my photos with my Mac mini.

Never again - worked about 12 times and stopped

I used this without fail twelve different times. Now, for no apparent reason, it stopped working. The USB C port turns on initially and then says "no signal" and the HDMI port doesn't work at all.

The ViewSonic VA1655 Portable IPS Monitor includes a Mini HDMI to HDMI Cable and a USB Type-C Cable, which is used both for video input and to power the monitor. If you wish to power the monitor from an AC outlet instead, you can use any USB-C charger with a power output of 7w or greater.

does this work with a media player?
Asked by: Janis
The ViewSonic VA1655 15.6" 16:9 Portable IPS Monitor could work with a media player; however, if the player cannot display video and provide power through USB-C, you'd need to connect the player via the Mini-HDMI port of the monitor and provide power separately (to the USB-C port) via a USB-C power supply.
