This 3-stop, 112mm NC ND8 Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens from NiSi is made to fit the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S lens and provides a layer of protection to the front optic without vignetting. This ultra-thin neutral density filter attaches to the 112mm filter thread in the lens' included HB-97 lens hood, is made of H-K9L optical glass, and it features nine layers of U-Type antireflective Nano multi-coating on each side and an additional hardened waterproof coating for protection from the elements. The filter ring is milled from brass and features side knurling for smooth installation and removal.

Do you have a lens cap that works with the NISI lens hood and Circular polarizing filter 112 mm on the Nikon 14-24mm Z mount lens?
There appears to be two types of lens caps for the Nikon Z 14-24 S 2.8 lens. One that fits over the larger lens hood and one that fits on the smaller fixed lens hood. In one of our videos we show the larger lens cap from Nikon is compatible with our lens hood while a filter is attached.

There are no front filter threads for attaching a filter to the front of the NiSi ND64 112mm NC Neutral Density Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (6-Stop) (B&H# NICCN64NZ). As such, you would have to add this on top of the CPL or other filter to use them together.

Would you need to pre-focus the image prior to attaching the filter. NISI recommends using their Filters App to help calculate the exposure more easily.

Yes, the NiSi NC ND64 Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (112mm , 6-Stop) threads on to the Nikon HB-97 Lens Hood for Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens (B&H # NIHB97) first, not the lens barrel.
