Yes, the super ball offers a 3/8 center stud screw and will allow the quick release plate to adapt nicely.

Can the locking pin be removed?
The locking pin on the FLM QLB-80 Quick Release Clamp cannot be removed. However, if you squeeze the pin between a pair of pliers and push it down into the body of the clamp, the locking pin will be ineffective and out of the way.
