The Magnus FBVH-500 Video Head with Flat Base is designed for shooters using cameras weighing up to 15 lb. It has a flat base that screws onto any standard 3/8"-16 tripod screw and gives you all the features of an advanced video head for performing professional cinematic moves. You can mount the included pan handle to either side of the head so you can create smooth and precise camera motion with either hand. The FBVH-500 head features a spring-loaded counterbalance with a tilt range of 170° (+90 to -80°), and it provides 360° panning rotation with adjustable fluid drag on both the pan and tilt axes.
The sliding QR plate features a snap-in function that allows you to quickly insert it into the head from above for effortless mounting and dismounting of large camera/lens combinations. And the plate's locking feature prevents it from accidentally slipping out of the clamp. The head attaches to a tripod via a 3/8"-16 thread. It also provides both 3/8"16 and 1/4"-20 auxiliary threads to attach accessories such as an articulating arm, LED, or microphone.
