At the heart of the ThinkBook 15 G3 is an AMD Ryzen 7 processor boasting an adjustable frequency from 1.8 to 4.3 GHz. A total of 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM and 512GB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD work together to enhance multitasking capabilities and load your most used programs quickly. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics supports high-quality images and media onto the 15.6" Twisted-Nematic (TN) panel, giving you a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 45% NTSC color gamut for clear and smooth visuals. Explore massive connectivity for your peripherals with USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Type-C ports along with Bluetooth 5.1 technology for wireless device. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) allows you to connect to your wireless business network or you can use a hardwired connection with the RJ45 Ethernet port for a secure connection. The ThinkBook 15 G3 embraces enhanced security features with a 720P user-facing webcam with privacy shutter, a touch fingerprint reader, as well as a Kensington Nano security slot, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 integration, giving you the peace of mind you need to complete your tasks safely.

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports also support DisplayPort 1.4 technology as well as Power Delivery 3.0, allowing you to connect displays, monitors, hubs, and even charge mobile devices.

Connect your ThinkBook 15 G3 to an external display with the HDMI 1.4b port, giving you additional screen real estate for a streamlined work setup or for conducting presentations. Windows 10 Pro
Start Menu
After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.
Cortana
Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
Microsoft Edge
After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.
Windows Store
For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.
Windows Continuum
Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface.
